Dunwich Heath 22 February 2025
I had a very damp day on a Phil Morley workshop at Dunwich Heath - the first time I have been out with my cameras in persistent drizzle (I tend to be a fair-weather photographer). I'm glad I did it, though, and it did brighten up a bit in the afternoon, in fact, you could say that spring sprang that day. At least I know that the weather sealing on both cameras and the lenses works, because they were drenched. The upside of the rain was the plentiful raindrops on the gorse and other heathland plants, which made for more interesting photographs. I also tried a bit of ICM (intentional camera movement) and the colour of the bracken when wet was spectacular.
